The team opened the new season with wins against Wagner and Quinnipiac before dropping a Sunday game vs. Stony Brook. About 6,000 screaming students came to the "Recess Game" on Nov. 13 at 11 AM and saw RU beat Rhode Island 68-63. The team next beat Fairleigh Dickinson and then lost at Auburn. They returned home and won three straight, topping Siena, Northeastern and St. Peter's to stand at 7-2 on the season before bowing to undefeated and 12th-ranked Iowa 79-36 in the BIG 10 opener on December 6 at JMA. Rutgers traveled to Princeton for a game between NJ rivals on December 10.  Princeton won, 81-63, dropping Rutgers' record to 7-4 on the season.

There have been quite a few changes to the roster since last season. Between graduations and transfers, Rutgers lost six players but with remaining players Antonia Bates, Zachara Perkins, Janae Walker, Kennedy Brandt and Deja Young from last year's team, 6 incoming transfers and two freshmen, the 2025-26 roster stands at 13. Our Huddles for the 2025-26 season take place as follows:

Sunday, 11/9 at noon -- game vs. Stony Brook at 2 PM

Saturday, 12/20 at 10 AM -- game vs. Lafayette at noon

Thursday, 1/22 at 4 PM -- game vs. Michigan at 6 PM

Saturday, 2/21 at 2 PM -- game vs. Penn State at 4 PM
